Understand the Highway Code, yes I know it is full of lots and lots of pages written in very small print, eventually it all makes sense.

Practise Theory and Hazard Perception Tests, use CD'/DVD's/web sites/Videos/OR as a last resort, a good old fashioned book.

Remember that everyone else on the road is out to kill you - your job (should you accept this challenge) is to anticipate and keep me and them, safe.

Watch other people driving and see how easy they make it look - actually it is really difficult to drive safely - don't worry I will be there to teach you to multitask.

Learn to anticipate, plan for and then avoid hazards, control yourself, control the car and pass the tests.

DRIVE SOLO - yes, you will eventually drive by yourself, a very scary thought.  Everyone, family and friends will be asking you for 'lifts'. Ugh, the responsibility of it.

Pass the Theory and then the Practical driving tests.

Undertake the Pass Plus Scheme - the aim of this is to put an old head on your young shoulders, prepare you for the joys and horrors of the stationary car park that is the M25, and possibly get you a reduction on your car insurance.

How much will all this cost you.  The honest truth is ..... I don't know, but I would estimate about £1000 .  Is it worth all the heartache and money YES IT IS. Just think - no more public transport, you can drive wherever and whenever you want, well, as long as you can afford the car, sound system, furry dice petrol, car insurance and many other costs involved in buying and driving your own car, AND it is a huge personal satisfaction in driving to the best of your ability.

My aim is to teach you wisdom to keep you SAFE AND ALIVE.
